US
There are many unique reasons why you should consider hiring us to look after your beloved furry or not-so-furry friends.
The key reason is that there are two of us, so you essentially get 2-for-1. We have more time available than other pet sitters, as this is our primary business, and we have more experience with a wider range of pets than most others.
In our lives we have been privileged to look after dogs and cats, young and old, plus parrots, finches, canaries, ferrets, hamsters, rabbits, lizards, chameleons, saltwater aquariums, donkeys, and monkeys. And we loved them all!
When we had busy professional careers that required extensive travel, we have had to hire numerous pet sitters. From this we learned what works and what doesn't work from a customer's perspective ...
We don't treat cats like dogs, or vice versa. We understand how important companionship and play is for both cats and dogs, and of-course those happy walks for your dogs.
Our visits are not about just checking a box and moving on to the next place. Each visit is conducted in a deeply thoughtful, custom, caring manner.
Because we are essentially retired now, working together as a team, we have lots of flexibility to devote the time and attention your loved pets deserve - and will take care of your home and property with care and respect.
You will find us super easy to work with, dependable, and trustworthy. With age comes wisdom and also much less partying...!

Dogs
We've had the full range of sizes in our lives: from Dachshunds, Pekingese, to German Shepherds, Rhodesian Ridgeback, and Pyrenean Mountain dogs dogs!
Saltwater Fish
We've had numerous large, medium and small tanks, for over 15 years. Beauties with lots of tropical fish and an assortment of corals and diverse other creatures
Birds
We have been privileged in our lives to enjoy cockatoos, guinea fowl, budgies, canaries, and finches!
Reptiles
One of our sons introduced our homes to a wide, colorful range of chameleons, lizards, and other reptiles...

"We absolutely loved working with Mic's Pet Sitting Duo!
We have two Boston Terriers and they now have a pair of new best friends. Peter & Mic were extremely responsive and made sure our little guys were well looked after and loved.
Both of our pups require receiving medicine with their meals at night and Peter & Mic made sure that happened every night. They also sent us photos of our pups every day which was lovely.
We'll definitely be working with them again!"
